Citizenship requirement in SAVE Act: Does it have basis in the Constitution?

Measures ignores precedent that only states decide who gets to vote

On April 10,  ²¹±è±è°ù´Ç±¹±ð»åÌý³Ù³ó±ð . The bill would make voting more difficult for tens of millions of U.S. residents.

SAVE Act would require anyone registering to vote in federal elections to first “provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship� in person, like or a passport.
