The Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival (FMFF) is back for its 23rd anniversary, bringing an unforgettable lineup of cultural, Indigenous, social, environmental, and outdoor-adventure films to Flagstaff April 3-6, with a special kickoff event on April 2.

Supported by more than 40 local businesses, organizations and artists, FMFF continues to celebrate, promote and nurture nonfiction filmmaking that inspires change within and beyond the Flagstaff-area community.

“We are thrilled to bring the festival back for its 23rd year, showcasing stories that move people, inspire action and build community.� said Montana Gia, executive director of FMFF. “This year’s lineup highlights powerful storytelling and immersive experiences that bring people together.�

Founded in 2003, the Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival was created to celebrate storytelling in the outdoors, according to a press release. From a one-night event to a multiday, multivenue festival attracting global filmmakers, FMFF has grown into one of Arizona’s most inspiring documentary and nonfiction film gatherings. Its mission is to provide a window to the world, screen movies inspiring change and create opportunities for deepening community connections and fostering meaningful conversations in Flagstaff.
