The City of Flagstaff, its contractor, Eagle Mountain Construction, and the Arizona Department of Transportation are set to begin striping operations along Milton Road, University Drive, University Avenue (future Fresquez Avenue) and the roundabout along Beulah Boulevard on Monday, June 30.
On Wednesday, July 2, and Thursday, July 3, the new roundabout along Beulah Boulevard will be fully closed to all traffic to allow crews to perform striping operations. The roundabout will reopen by Friday, July 4.
Milton Road will remain open in both directions, while University Drive will be open to eastbound traffic, with westbound traffic between the Target driveway entrance and Milton Road closed. Access to and from University Avenue (future Fresquez Avenue) via Milton Road will be closed. Motorists are asked to follow the marked signage, travel at the posted speed limit and should expect delays when traveling through the project area.
Work will occur Monday through Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. In observance of the Independence Day holiday, no work will be performed on Friday, July 4.
