Offices at Flagstaff City Hall (211 W. Aspen Ave.) will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth National Independence Day.

Additionally, the East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St.), downtown library (300 W. Aspen Ave.), Hal Jensen Recreation Center (2403 N. Izabel St.), Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Road), Cinder Lake Landfill and Hazardous Products Center (6770 E. Landfill Road) and the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) (1800 E. Butler Ave.) will all be closed on Thursday.

The Aquaplex at 1702 N. Fourth St. will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Jay Lively Activity Center at 1650 N. Turquoise Drive will also be open during normal hours with scheduled programming.

There will be no residential trash or recycling services on June 19. Customers with trash service normally scheduled on Thursday will have their trash collected on Friday, June 20. Customers with recycling service normally scheduled on Thursday will have their recycling collected on Wednesday, June 18. All other residential customers will not see any changes. There will also be no commercial trash or recycling services on Thursday, June 19. Commercial customers will have their trash and recycling collected throughout the week to make up for the holiday.

Flagstaff City Hall offices will reopen on Friday, June 20, at 8 a.m.
