The Coconino County Manager鈥檚 office was made aware of a potential scam targeting county residents and property owners.
Residents reported receiving an email from 鈥淐oconino County Planning and Zoning Division鈥� regarding an 鈥渙utstanding application review and renewal fee鈥� associated with a conditional use permit application for their property, as well as an attached PDF invoice for payment.
The County Manager鈥檚 Office reminds residents that conditional use permits, as well as all planning and zoning matters, are administered by the County鈥檚 Community Development Department. Community Development also does not generate invoices for payment or communicate past due notices via email. All legitimate email communications from Coconino County staff or elected officials will come from an 鈥淍coconino.az.gov鈥� email address.
