All three high schools in the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) will be having commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2025 at the end of this week.
Summit High School's graduation will be the evening of May 22, while both Coconino and Flagstaff high school will have graduations on May 23.
Summit High School’s commencement will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, in the school parking lot (4000 N. Cummings St.). Doors will open at 4 p.m., and guests should park in the surrounding neighborhood.
FUSD’s announcement notes that this ceremony will be outdoors, so guests should prepare to bring water, sunscreen, hats and other supplies. It also asks attendees to refrain from bringing balloons, noisemakers, cardboard cutouts, large hats, umbrellas or throwing toys.Â
Graduates and their supporters will be able to gather in the Summit parking lot after the end of the ceremony.
CHS and FHS will both have graduations on Friday, May 23, in the Walkup Skydome at Northern Arizona University (1705 S. San Francisco St.). CHS’s ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. and FHS’s will begin at 3 p.m.
Doors will open to the public at 8 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon. Attendees will not be permitted on the floor of the dome.
Parking will be available in the San Francisco Parking Garage and lot P62 (off Pine Knoll Drive), with FUSD providing transportation to and from the Skydome. ADA parking is available in lot P66 (next to the Skydome) and additional south campus lots are designated as park and walk. A map of parking options and traffic patterns is available on FUSD’s website.
Both graduates and guests will need to follow NAU’s Clear Bag Policy or they will not be permitted to enter. The full policy can be found at .
FUSD’s announcement notes that the Skydome has limited air conditioning and can get warm. Clear, factory-sealed water bottles will be permitted in the stadium, but personal water bottles will not be allowed.
Graduates will be guided out of the Skydome following the ceremony, where they later can meet with their families.
All three graduations will be livestreamed on the district’s Vimeo page. Links to each can be found by clicking the 2025 Graduation Information link at .
