Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the Downtown Flagstaff Foundation invites locals and visitors to town to enjoy more than 80 free events in around Heritage Square throughout the summer.
Ranging from outdoor movies, live music, yoga, activities for kids and First Friday ArtWalks, the events are scheduled from May 24 to Sept. 28.
Movies on the Square
Beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturdays with live music and activities, movies will then begin at dusk in Heritage Square.聽
The series begins with "Surf's Up" on May 24, followed by "The Wild Robot" on May 31 and "Wicked" on June 7, with the entire series running to July 26 can be found .
Music on the Square
Beginning May 29, live musical performances by local musicians will be available at Heritage Square on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 25. The list of performances can be found .
Spin on the Square
Every Sunday from 9 to 9:45 a.m., The Box Studio will offer outdoor spin classes in Heritage Square. All skill levels are welcome to join, with the first class is scheduled for May 25. Click a spot.
Yoga on the Lawn + Square
The Foundry will lead a free yoga session from 9 to 10 a.m. in Heritage Square on May 31, June 28, July 26 and Aug. 30.聽
Additionally, beginning on June 7, the Northern Arizona Yoga Center will offer yoga sessions on the Coconino County Courthouse Lawn on the first and third Saturdays of the month. The sessions are free to members of the Northern Arizona Yoga Studio and $5 for non-members.
Those interested in participating are asked to bring their own yoga mat and water, with all levels welcome.
Kids Squared
Every Tuesday in June and July from 10 to 11 a.m., a weekly series designed for kids ages 4 to 9 years old will be held at Heritage Square. Activities from local community partners will include book days filled with stories, visits from local firefighters and environmental adventures will connect children to nature.聽

First Friday ArtWalk
On the first Friday of each month, downtown galleries and businesses will showcase special art exhibits from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Live music, performances and other events will be held all around Heritage Square.
