Northern Arizona Healthcare announced it added an orthopedic surgeon to its Orthopedic & Spine Institute in Flagstaff who is now accepting new patients.
Darren Herzog, MD, has more than 12 years of experience in orthopedic care and is board-certified in orthopedic surgery with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
He earned his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Detroit Medical Center through the Wayne State University residency program. He also completed an Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.

Herzog has specialty focuses in operative and nonoperative treatments for knee and hip arthritis; primary total knee arthroplasty (replacement surgery); unicondylar (partial) knee arthroplasty; total hip arthroplasty with specific expertise in direct anterior approach; complex revision of total knee and total hip arthroplasty; evaluation and management of painful or failed prosthetic hip; and knee and prosthetic joint infection management.
