Looking to return to one of three state tournaments, the Flagstaff Girls Softball Little League announced the rosters for three all-star teams set to play this summer.
The FGSLL 10-and-under roster includes Eva Allred, Blake Beath, Hailey Briggs, Delayza Browning-Schnurpel, Brooklyn Burcar, Morgan Cloer, Bella Dougi, Eisley Garcia, Abby Martin, Grace Miller, Adelynn Reiner, Allie Smith and Gretchen Turley, with Carlos Dougi serving as head coach.
The 2025 Arizona State 8-10 Softball Tournament is scheduled to begin on July 9 in Cottonwood. Should the FGSLL 10s reach the state tournament, they would face District 9 (Kingman) in the first round.
For the FGSLL 11-and-under team, the roster includes Carter Begay, Emmalee Bell, Kaitlin Cornn, Brinley DeRosa, Jordan Etsitty, Harper Gillman, Clara Lorenz, Ella Moore, Ellie Schreiber, Caidence Thomas, Chloe Thomas, Sarenity Vanwinkle and Preston Wigman, with Amanda Wigman as head coach. Last summer, FGSLL's 11s team reached the state tournament and finished with a 2-2 record.
The 2025 Arizona State 9-11 Softball Tournament in Queen Creek will begin on July 12, with the District 1 champion set to face District 13 (Tempe and Chandler) in the first round.
Lastly, the FGSLL 12-and-under team includes Elisa Benitez, Rowyn Chase, McKenna Martin, Ayleen Martinez, Lluvia Salas Saucedo, Ava Simonton, Brielle Smith, Madison Smith, Devin Snider, Angalisia Vallejos, Olivia Willeto and Trinity Zamora-Gilmer, with Sam Martin serving as head coach. A majority of the 2025 12s roster were members of the 2024 11s team that reached the state tournament.
The 2025 Arizona Softball Majors Softball Tournament will also be held in Cottonwood and begin on July 5. District 1 will open the tournament with a first-round bye before facing District 8 (Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties) or District 11 (Phoenix Metro West) in the second round.
