Fortunately for most people, emergencies are not a daily occurrence, but for those of us at The Guidance Center, crises are an integral part of our mission. With a steadfast commitment to mental health and well-being, we embody the message, “We are here when you need us.�

When asking northern Arizonans about emergency preparedness this time of year, wildfire and flooding are top of mind. Responses to crises like these do not always include taking care of one’s own mental well-being. The Guidance Center joins our community partners and first responders in ensuring that our neighbors have all of the resources they need in moments of disaster, immediately after and into the future, to support thriving on the other side. Knowing how to access mental health resources immediately should be part of every emergency response toolkit.
