Coconino County updates general election results Friday night

Aubrey Sonderegger celebrates with family at The Orpheum Theater Tuesday night after early election returns showed her winning the race for a four-year term as Coconino County's recorder. 

With the Coconino County Elections Department counting thousands of ballots and adding them to the results of the general election on Friday night, about 2,836 are all that remain according to the Arizona Secretary of State's Office.

Following the update from Friday evening at 7:19 p.m., Coconino County now has an estimated 1,589 provisional ballots and 972 early ballots left to process, as well as 275 more ready for tabulation, with 96.08% completed.
