Preliminary work will include tree removal, fence installation, concrete removal and storm drain installation along the perimeter of the intersection. The planned hours of construction are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this preliminary phase, the intersection will remain open, although the city cautioned that users should expect lane and sidewalk restrictions, modified bus routes, heavy equipment, loud noise and flagging operations.
