Dinty Moore canned stew recalled for possible wood contamination

The Hormel Foods Corporation is recalling roughly 200,000 cans of Dinty Moore Beef Stew shipped to retailers across the United States, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The affected cans may contain wood.

Specifically, Hormel is recalling 20-oz cans of the stew, with a best-by date of February 2028, lot code T02045, and establishment code EST199G. (The lot code might have an additional number at the end.)
