Elizabeth Silkes announced as new CEO of Grand Canyon Conservancy

The Grand Canyon Conservancy, the official nonprofit partner of Grand Canyon National Park, announced Elizabeth Silkes will serve as the organization's new CEO, effective Feb. 3.

According to Conservancy's press release, Silkes brings more than 14 years of experience and expertise from her role as executive director of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience (ICSC). In her previous role, Silkes oversaw a network of more than 370 museums, historic sites and memory initiatives across 80 countries.
