The Advanced Placement Academy at Flagstaff High School is implementing new ways to increase its enrollment, particularly among students of ethnic minorities.
Jeff Taylor, an AP teacher at Flagstaff High School and the chairman of the AP Academy, said so far the program has met its objectives, including bringing students into the district from charter schools and increasing AP scores. He said minority enrollment is also increasing, but said the academy is now looking into new opportunities to recruit minority students.
