Glen Canyon Dam begins relining project

A robotic sandblaster is removing the original coating inside the covered river outlet work.

The Bureau of Reclamation announced that the relining of the river outlet works at Glen Canyon Dam is underway.

The project is funded through an $8.9 million investment from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The project will reline all four outlets and take about a year to complete, ensuring efficient and reliable water deliveries for the future.
