With more than 1,000 votes added to the results of Tuesday's general election over the weekend, Coconino County has completed the count of nearly 98% of its ballots.
The most recent update came at 5:54 p.m. on Saturday, leaving Coconino County with an estimated 1,815 ballots still to be counted that includes an estimated 1,183 provisional ballots and 275 early ballots left to process and 357 ballots ready for tabulation, according to Arizona Secretary of State's Office. On Sunday afternoon, the Coconino County Recorder's Department posted on X that it had spent the day working on processing provisional ballots and would begin opening envelopes on Monday to begin counting eligible ballots.
