Townsite Community Land Trust Executive Director Duffie Westheimer is presented with an award for "Excellence in Historic Preservation" from the Coconino Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The Townsite Community Land Trust (TCLT) received the "Excellence in Historic Preservation" from the Coconino Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution earlier this month.
Honoring TCLT on Nov. 9, the mission of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is to promote patriotism, historic preservation and education. The award recognizes the work of TCLT in "providing affordable housing to Flagstaff residents while preserving Flagstaff’s historic homes, unique neighborhoods and irreplaceable history," according to the DAR.
