Flagstaff’s Rocky Horror tradition: A night of anticipation

The Orpheum Theater hosted its annual screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show in Flagstaff on October 19, featuring two performances—one at 7:30 p.m. and another at 11:30 p.m. This tradition continues the film's legacy as one of America's original "midnight movies."

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show follows newly engaged couple Janet Weiss and Brad Majors as they navigate the eccentricities of Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s castle. This iconic rock opera, infused with glam rock and cabaret influences, is celebrated as the longest-running theater film in history and is renowned for its audience participation.
