Coconino National Forest planning prescribed burns for May 20 to 23

U.S. Forest Service

The Coconino National Forest is planning to conduct a pair of prescribed burns, beginning either May 20 or 21 to May 23.

Both burn projects, located within the Flagstaff Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest, might be changed or canceled last minute if conditions do not meet the criteria outlined in advance. Should wind and weather conditions become unfavorable, ignitions will be halted, and project plans will be postponed, changed or canceled. If that occurs, updates will be posted on the Coconino National Forest Prescribed Burn Projects InciWeb page, which is updated any time new information is available.
