Guided by experienced lactation counselors, this class offers a community focused on support, connection, and empowerment for new and expecting parents.Learn about: - What to expect when feeding a newborn - The benefits of human milk - Your baby’s feeding cues and how to tell your baby is getting enough milk - Proper latch and positions for effective feeding - How to receive further lactation and breastfeeding support Lactation Class for New & Expecting Parents is free, and you do not have to be a patient of North Country HealthCare to attend. Classes are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month, from 5:30 – 6:30 PM, at the North Country HealthCare OB/GYN Clinic Community room, located at 2920 N 4th Street, Flagstaff, AZ.
