Fettuccine alfredo meals sold at Frys, Walmart recalled over potential listeria contamination

Ready-to-serve fettuccine alfredo pasta meals sold at Frys (Kroger) and Walmart locations nationwide have been recalled because of possible contamination with a strain of listeria, a bacteria that can cause serious illness.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, 17 people have fallen ill from a linked to these meals, and three have died. To date, no cases of illness linked to the pasta meals have been reported in Arizona.
