City of Flagstaff, courtesyFlagstaff’s Schultz Creek Drainage Improvements Project received multiple awards last month from professional associations and the state, the city announced on Monday, June 23.
The project, which included the installation of a new box culvert underneath Highway 180 near Flagstaff Fire Department Station No. 5 along with upstream and downstream flood mitigation work, was completed in October 2024. Phoenix-based Banicki Construction was the city’s contractor for the culvert installation.
