A look at Coconino County's COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths since 2020

Pop-up, sleeves up

Aundrea Janikowski sits still for her first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine administered by advanced practice registered nurse Todd Marlowe at a pop-up clinic outside the Coconino County Superior Court building in downtown Flagstaff in 2021.

So far this year, Coconino County's COVID-19 case totals have been lower than in previous years while healthcare providers at Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) are reporting fewer hospitalizations due to severe cases.

Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) had published reports on COVID cases and other data related to the disease in Coconino County weekly from March 26, 2020, through June 30, 2023. COVID data is now included in its seasonal respiratory disease reports, which are released weekly during each year’s flu season and also track influenza and RSV, with comparisons to five-year averages.
