Brown eggs are shown in their carton in a home in Palm Springs, California

Brown-shelled eggs sold at Walmart locations in Arizona have been recalled for possible salmonella contamination, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on Saturday, June 7.

The eggs were produced by the August Egg Company of California and sold under multiple brand names. Approximately 1.7 million dozen brown cage free and brown certified organic eggs are affected by this recall. The eggs were distributed from Feb. 3, 2025, through May 6, 2025, with sell-by dates ranging from March 4, 2025, to June 19, 2025.
