Coconino County Board of Supervisors completes canvass of 2024 general election

Election Day

Completing its canvass of the Nov. 5 general election as part of Tuesday’s regularly scheduled meeting, the Coconino County Board of Supervisors approved the results and transferred them to the office of the secretary of state.

Ultimately landing at a turnout of 78.29% of its 90,681 registered voters, a total of 70,933 ballots were tabulated by Coconino County for the election. The totals came up just short of 2020’s general election, which saw an 81.54% turnout and 73,968 votes cast, but finished right around the estimation that Coconino County elections director Eslir Musta predicted in a presentation to the board in September.
