Little opposition surfaces in Coconino County's push for Proposition 482 approval

Faced with the possibility of cutting county services despite the funds being readily available, Coconino County is trying to make clear that a yes vote on Proposition 482 in November is not a tax increase.

Instead, the county’s desire to raise its original base expenditure limit of $10,268,127 -- set in 1979-80 -- by $7.7 million comes from a place of preservation.
