Proposition 139 asks Arizona voters to decide on abortion rights as Planned Parenthood continues offering services in Flagstaff

Abortion is on the聽November ballot in Arizona, with Proposition 139 asking voters whether to approve an amendment to the state constitution guaranteeing the right to abortion until the point of fetal viability.

The proposed amendment is called the Arizona Abortion Access Act. It says that 鈥渆very individual has a fundamental right to abortion" and prohibits the state from denying, restricting or interfering with that right before fetal viability. The act also includes exceptions 鈥渢o protect the life or physical or mental health of the pregnant individual.鈥�
