National Weather Service issues winter weather warning for Flagstaff; 4-8 inches of snow could be on the way

The National Weather Service in Bellemont has issued a winter weather warning for Flagstaff from 6 p.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Friday, highlighting a storm that could bring some much-needed snow to the area.

The forecast calls for a mix of rain and snow showers for most of Thursday, with the winter blend turning into potentially heavy snow overnight. The chance of precipitation is 90% for Thursday night and 100% for Friday as the system moves through the region.
